August Alsina – Drugs
August Alsina is back, revamped, and ready to share his new music with the world. It’s only been a little over a year since his sophomore album This Thing Called Life was released, but it seemed to fly under the radar in 2015. His third album, Drugs, may be the project that gets him back on everyone’s radar, and he’s wasted no time releasing two new songs, the title track “Drugs,” and “Wait.”
According to some personal messages on Instagram, this is the most excited August has been about his music in a while. He decided to name the album ‘Drugs‘ because of things he realized he was addicted to in his life. If Alsina’s penchant for always keeping his music raw and vulnerable stays true, then there’s sure to be plenty of tracks sharing his new found addiction to love on this album. -Jamila Wright
