The-Dream – Love Affair
This may be a shot in the dark, but we are crossing our fingers that The-Dream comes back with his best work since 2009’s Love vs. Money this year. After a slightly unstable period business wise, which saw the Radio Killa switch record labels twice and then go independent, it appears Mr. Terius Nash may have stumbled back into the inspiration that he needed as an artist himself.
2016 brought a few projects from The-Dream actually, including the TIDAL exclusive visual album Genesis, the odd Soundcloud leaking of his Jewel EP, and the standout (which we are still playing) ‘Love You To Death‘ EP from December. The later being a prelude of sorts to his sixth album Love Affair, which is expected to be released on March 24. Dream has stated that he is looking to learn more about man, to complete himself in a sense, but he is also looking to address often undiscussed traits of men and the affect they have on relationships. -Jamie Wexler
