12. Raheem DeVaughn – Love, Sex, Passion
There’s always something so serene about hearing Raheem Devaughn on a track, and our wishes were fulfilled with his fifth album, Love, Sex, Passion. Serving as the follow-up to 2013’s A Place Called Love Land, L.S.P. gives fans of both Raheem and R&B the sexual healing that they’ve been calling out for.
Since 2005’s The Love Experience, Raheem has been here to serve “You” and this album is no different. With production from Florida duo The Colleagues, Dre King, Raheem himself, Travis Cherry, Chucky Thompson, and even BJ The Chicago Kid, this album may possibly be one of our regular go-to’s when love is the matter at hand. Although missing out on this year’s Grammy noms, the respect and notice from true fans of Raheem should be more than enough to understand that this album fits the true mold of what that old school love and passion depicts.
Raheem remains to be one of the most consistently talented singers of the last 10 years, however his albums never seem to receive the play, love, or respect they deserve, and that needs to change. Love, Sex, Passion – which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Independent Album chart – was an aptly titled album for every emotion that it invokes in you and that you would want to bring out of the one for you. – Ni’Kesia Pannell

This list is crap. Where is Tamar Braxton’s Calling All Lovers? Some I can see because the artist are well rounded. However Miguel, Chris Brown, The Weekend and Bryson Tiller’s albums were WACK!!!!! Some of the others I haven’t heard. This list sounds like a favorite’s from the writer’s list not really what were the best. I love Tamia but her album wasn’t any good either.
