This fete serves as J. Brown’s 6th Top 10 Billboard R&B song and first #1 in the last three years as a full independent artist, via Mocha Music Entertainment.
J.Brown recently joined rising soul singer October London on his headlining “The Rebirth of Marvin Tour” along with the ladies with impeccable voices, “The Shindellas.”
ThisIsRnB had the pleasure of sitting down with the talented soulful all-around entertainer J.Brown during the Philadelphia leg of the tour. We caught up with him in his trailer on the “Rebirth of Marvin Tour” before the show. He discussed his musical start and influences, smash hit beautiful love ballad “My Whole Heart,” the true meaning behind the song, the “Art of Making Love” album, and so much more. He knows how to make women feel good and gives men something to consider. His songs uplift and encourage women and we just adore him for that.
When asked about the meaning and significance of why he was compelled to be a part of the ‘Rebirth of Marvin Tour,” J. Brown shared “how being on tour with October London and The Shindellas was like being with family.” They all shared the same sentiments. We could see and feel the love and magic on and off stage between them.
Quickly switching to fan mode, we enjoyed watching J. Brown’s performance as he made magic on stage. Needless to say, he brought all the sexy RNB swagger to his performance.
As soon as he hit the stage the audience in Philly went wild and J. Brown made it feel like an intimate ladies’ night experience. From the very first note, we were blown away by his vocals! It was a true showman’s set by J.Brown who had the crowd on its feet from beginning to end.
This talented brother’s future is extremely bright. We will keep watching and waiting to see what he does next.
